A lot of it is kind-of soft and simple and short. I've been listening to a lot of Sparklehorse and Ryland Bouchard. Maybe that's why? Some of the songs are on my YouTube page.

This is the newest one. It includes the poem "Underwater and Breathing through Straws," which was published at Tinfoildresses. It also includes the simplest percussion track ever and some acoustic slide guitar drenched in wahwah. The picture is my current backyard. It reminds me of Sigur Ros' interesting stage decorum.

God loves rich kids... is now free!

To copy the publisher: my "60-page kick-in-the-face poetry collection" titled God loves rich kids and we smoke off the same cigarette is now available for free as a PDF. Hopefully the next book or collection won't sound like it's overtly religious.

Also at Bygawd Books, there's a second release of God loves rich kids and we smoke off the same cigarette on its way. It'll be cheaper, apparently. I think that's cool. Accessibility is important. You can still get "first edition" copies for now, though.

Over at Leaf Garden Press, Melanie and I have opened submissions for issue #9, which has an "experimental" theme. I've listed a few of them:

Place: Amazon (Here)
Price: (New) $19.95, Used (from $19.02)

Place: Barnes and Noble (Here)
Price: (New) $19.95, (Member's) $17.95
Note: All the "People who bought this also bought..." books are vampire related, or at least sound vampire related. My book has nothing to do with vampires, for the record.

Place: Tower Books (Here)
Price: (New) $23.95
Note: It is under the category Books » Fiction and Literature » Christian-Historical. This book is not Christian, nor is it Historical. It is Christian and History friendly, though--I guess.

Place: Fishpond (Here)
Price: $53.99
Note: This is an Australian bookstore.

Place: Chapters.indigo.ca (Here)
Price: (New) $28.50, (Used/Rare) $33.00-65.45
Note: This is the Canadian source. Its cheaper new...

Using Google's product search, I found one location that put the cost at $100,000 (but thank goodness! the price included tax and shipping.) The link did not lead to the same price, however.

I might note that the book is printed on demand by the publisher--so there should never be any need to pay more than $19.95. If you buy the book and you're unsatisfied then let me know and I'll send you a book in the mail that you'll love. If you don't love that book then I'll part with you saying, "Gee, you're hopeless!" as I smack my knee very affectionately.

To the Pilgrims: Happy Thanksgiving!
To the Native Americans: Sorry.

"Question Marx"

The collaborative piece I did with Melanie Browne and Zachary German, titled "Question Marx," has been published by Admit2, an online magazine of collaborative works.

It's on the side there.

"And the Household"

My book, And the Household, has been given the official release date of December 13, 2008. The music project Eason and Louis is "back together." (Myself and Cody Shaffer.) The music project Njaim is still dancing in limbo. Nothing is ready for release. In the meantime: how about some poetry?
